I feel like the word “sensory” is thrown around pretty loosely among parents (mostly stay-at-home-pinterest-moms) over the past few years. But, to be completely honest, unless you have hyper or hyporactivity sensory issues yourself, I don’t think the rest of us REALLY know what we’re talking about.

We’ve noticed since Riot was very young that he was sensory seeking and I absolutely love it about him. But again, WTF does that even mean? It’s one of those things where you start thinking so far into it that it doesn’t even make sense anymore. Obviously I wanted to know what it was like for my boy though.. so I went off to hunt the internet and after weeding through tons of bullshit, I found this stuff pretty helpful in *getting it*. I’ll post more as I stumble upon it. XO-C
